BIOGRAPHY 自傳
Jialing Chen was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She has loved painting since childhood. After graduating from the Fine Arts program at High School, she attended the Department of Fine Arts and Crafts Education at Taitung Teacher's College. She later pursued a Master's degree in Product Design in San Francisco .Upon returning to Taiwan, Jialing worked as a designer for several years before rediscovering her passion for painting in 2012, where she specialized in watercolor. In 2014, she began focusing on plein air painting, which led to numerous national and international awards.In recent years, she has concentrated on oil painting outdoors. Exploring light and color in nature brings her the greatest passion and inspiration. In addition to her creative work, Chen Jialing regularly holds exhibitions and continues to contribute to arts and crafts education. She currently resides in Taipei with her husband and two daughters."
佳鈴生於台北台灣,從小喜愛繪畫，明倫高中美術班畢業後至台東師範學院美勞教育系就讀，畢業後前往舊金山攻讀產品設計碩士，回國後當了幾年的設計師，佳鈴在2012年重拾畫筆專研水彩，2014開始研究戶外寫生並得到許多國內外的獎項。近幾年專注於油畫寫生， 在戶外探索光與色彩帶給她最大的熱情與啟發。陳佳鈴除了創作外也定期舉辦展覽，並在美勞教育上播種灌溉。目前與兩位女兒和先生定居台北。

ARTIST STATEMENT 創作自述
Unconsciously, after learning outdoor sketching from several foreign watercolor masters ten years ago, I fell in love with the feeling of sketching, and it has continued until now. From watercolor to oil painting, from a fleeting moment to a feast of light and color for the soul, it always excites me, makes me enjoy the process, and look forward to the next journey with passion.If there is something that will never be replaced by AI in the future, for me, it is this.
不知不覺，從十年前學習國外多位水彩大師戶外寫生後就愛上寫生的感覺，一直持續到現在，從水彩到油畫，從一瞬間到一段光與色彩的心靈饗宴，每每讓我振奮，讓我享受這過程並熱烈期待下次的旅程。如果說未來有甚麼不會被AI取代的，對於我來說就是這吧!
